The Houthis say their attacks are being carried out in response to Israel’s attacks on Gaza following Hamas’ killing of 1,200 civilians in the country on October 7.
Our “attacks” vs. their “killing of 1,200 civilians”. Also were not many of these 1,200 military personnel?

Not only that, but we now know that IDF is responsible for gunning down a lot of the civilians.

600 something civilians was the last total. Hundreds were killed by the IDF easily through artillery, wanton bullet spraying at NOVA, and tank shelling in the kibbutzes.
