Like hypothetically if hbomberguy makes an account and starts posting here with the same handle that would make me uncomfortable under the same reasoning I’ve explained before. We already both accept community content & ban shill-bots. It’s always been a matter of degree & taste, and KC is fine. She doesn’t have a multi-million subscriber count to hug the site to death with, isnt pumping anything beyond mentioning her stream’s existance when relevent/asked, and posts in a variety of unrelated topics just like every other poster here.
If you wanna talk about parasocialization, alienation, the enshittification of the web, ect, theres lots of ways to have that conversation (especially here!) without centering it on fellow user.
