I recently got into making stickers and want to put them up places people will see them. I feel like I’ll get caught or it will be taken down. Places with lots of stickers won’t be places that new ones get noticed necessarily, though I will be putting a hammsick up at a local anarchist-y place. I don’t want to waste my hard work on something that will be removed. That Hamas logo is a masterpiece. I want to be able to say, like MC Ren, “I’m sneaky as fuck when it comes to crime.” Help.

As someone who did urban exploring in the past, my advice would be to 1. plan your route, and 2. stake out your location. Go on google maps and plan out where you’re going to place the sticker, how you’re going to get there, and how you’re going to get out.

There will be hours during the day (or night) when there’s going to be less people around, or no people around. And similarly, there’s going to be times of the day when it’s going to be packed. For example, industrial areas will mostly be empty at night. Parks will mostly be empty during weekdays.

When it’s busy, you’d want to walk around and take note of any cameras or automated security / surveillance, as well as the demographic and their dress. Only when there’s no people, you’ll want to plant the sticker. You want to avoid being in the area when there’s a sparse amount of people there, because then you’ll stand out.

Park farther away, and walk. What’s worse than someone having record of your face, is having record of your car or your license plate. I recall that when exploring an abandoned hospital that was being used as a police training ground, I went at 2AM during a Monday, parked 1 km away and cut through a small forest to get there. I didn’t see a single person.

That makes sense, I don’t plan to invest too much time soon, so I just plant them on my way to school if there’s no one around. Idk how to get it where people will see them though, without being obvious, or spending my free time. Someone recommended bathrooms, but I avoid public ones generally.
