The boulder in front of the rover is being imaged by the SHERLOC camera. The HazCam captured SHERLOC taking the image of the top of the boulder. They have also used the PIXL instrument on the same target. PIXL measures the fine-scale chemical makeup of rocks using an X-ray spectrometer and a camera. This can be a precursor for sampling if the results highlight anything interesting. At this time we have no mission update, so I don’t know the name of the target, but hopefully the team will let us know soon.

I originally did these for my own benefit, but soon learned there was a lot of like-minded-folk out there, and sharing is just a click or two away :)
