I’m filling out all the details to make the community but the button to create it just shows a circle for a second and then does nothing. Is this a server issue or am I doing something wrong?

I have had this before when making posts. Try to copy with ctrl+c the content of your text and refresh with ctrl+f5. Then it’s either posted or it’s not. If it’s not, paste the text again in your clickboard and rinse and repeat till it works.

Annoying but it’s one of the quirks of Lemmy right now.

Okay, I was confused because the page didn’t give any feedback if there was a requirement missing. I’ve tried what you suggested and it still doesn’t seem to be working, maybe I’ll just wait a day or two. Thanks for the advice!

Did your community name contain uppercase letters? I don’t mean the shown name but the one that will be used to identify the community, e.g. asklemmynsfw for !asklemmynsfw@lemmynsfw.com.

edit: changed small error

Nope, I have no idea what happened. For some reason “girlswithglasses” wouldn’t go through, but just “glasses” did.
