If the networks shoved “WERE GONNA BLOW UP THIS LABORGHINI BECAUSE CBS!” “WERE GONNA FEED THIS HOMELESS DUDE! CBS! CBS!” ad nauseam it would be a different animal, but somehow ostentatious displays of consumption and self-promotion are acceptable for some.
