Taito Corporation has announced the release of a new game app called "Space Invader World Defense," which utilizes Google’s ARCore Geospatial API to offer an immersive AR shooting experience. Players will be able to battle invading Space Invaders in real-world locations, with stages that adapt to the player’s surroundings, such as time, weather, and location. The game marks the 45th anniversary of the iconic Space Invaders franchise and invites players to join the global fight against the invaders. Pre-registration for the game is now open on Google Play and the App Store.
