As much as AI can help identify things, it can also be confidently and completely off. Please be cautious and don’t rely on AI identification alone. Look up several pictures from botanical and biology pages - because even image search from Google and other large search engines can be off and/or inconsistent.

To add, wild food UK have a YouTube presence that can be really helpful for seeing video rather than photos.

Foragingtexas.com has a lot of good information for the state, many of the plants have a much wider distribution as well.

In Norway, Artsorakelet from Artsdatabanken is a good free ID app. It warns you not to trust it enough to eat something because of it, but I’ve found it very useful to sanity check my own IDs, and get a pointer to things I’m not going to eat anyway.
