Which rotation is the easiest to learn? I’m trying to get the single kill for the diary but may cap him(her?) Long term. Combat stats are all 85-ish. Got blowpipe and swamp trident.
I would try the mage only method. I really struggled with the diary task myself but I eventually got it with mage only, the RuneLite plugin and reseting until I got the easiest rota. The wiki helps aswell.
This was definitely the move for the single diary kill. Got it myself using it.

I also found this video guide very helpful. I believe I actually chose the rotation because of the video.
If you are on RuneLite look for the plugin called Zulrah plugin/Zulrah helper in the plugin hub. It shows you where to stand, what to pray, and eventually through use of it you will learn all the rotations. When I 1st started killing Zulrah I struggled a lot and wondered if I should actually play this game and now I can do it in my sleep. Maybe you do fine instantly but I’m just saying don’t get discouraged if it seems overwhelming at 1st.
I tried the helper and I think I died 3 times before I stopped for the night… I think I just need to get familiar with one rotation first at this point. With everything going on with the fight, i forget to click the right step in the helper plugin and get myself even more confused.
I hunted for green green as first two to get my diary kill I believe. It took a couple tries to get that rotation, but shouldn’t take too long. Good luck!
I know you said you’ve tried the Runelite plugin, but I actually found this website much more helpful for the rotation: https://josephsplace.github.io/zulrah-helper/. Zulrah is honestly hard to learn but once you do, it comes naturally.
Prioritise your prayer at all times. Time your gear and prayer switches to happen between phases so you spend the most time inflicting damage. If you’re having difficulty switching, use void with only a weapon, helm and cape switch. Use veng if you’re feeling spicy for some extra damage. And don’t worry about it needing many attempts, I think it took me 16 deaths before I got my first kill, you’ll get there.
