I went here with my 6 year old daughter and my parents this past weekend. I grew up coming here with my dad and it feels really special to share it with my daughter. I can’t wait to go back.

Awesome! My 9yo daughter will be here for a few weeks soon and was thinking of taking her there. Either that or Twin Lakes, a bit harder but she likes a challenge and alpine views would be a first for her.

Been up to Big Peters lately? Heard that it’s fallen into a state of disrepair from nature, idiots, and otherwise. Was sad to hear that.

I went to big Peter’s last year. The trails are doing OK for the most part but the sites need some TLC. The bridges are pretty rough as well. We saw signs saying the bridges are in even worse conditions this year. For how busy it is you would think there would be a higher priority to maintain the trails.
