Because I could’nt get it on Reddit. So first thing I did arriving in the Fediverse was to leverage the power of multiinstance to get the perfect pseudonyme.
Best part of lemmy is you can get any username, even if its taken theres other instances where it isnt.
My username is a portmanteau of words siivu and viipale which are two different types of slices. I’m not sure if English differentiates these two types of slices but siipale is something between those two or both at the same time.
Anyway, in addition to being an interesting portmanteau my username sounds similar to sopuli so it’s a perfect fit for Lemmy.
Because I like Doctor Who, and it’s just wrong enough in German that it’s never really taken by anyone.
Because I discovered the Greenday album with the same name as a teenager about the time my family got the internet and also I gave a sleeping disorder. And I’m too lazy and uncreative to think of another.
