Hi. Is it possible to post to my own profile and not into a community? The reason Im asking is, that I would like to add sth like a self introduction. Im into kind of #kinks which I only want to post in the right context, that describe β€œit’s a sexual kink only. Be nice to all people…!”

In your Settings you can write a bio. You’re welcome to introduce yourself there!

I think being relaxed and using the obviously solution might be the best way for a start. Thanks for the hint!

You already found the bio.

But, if you want actual threads/posts, you can create your own community (using your username as the name, maybe?), and set it so only you can post to it. Then link to it in your bio.

Now you have a personal page you can make posts to.

Creating a new community and using that to post own thoughts / longer textes could be a nice way. Thank you a lot for this hint.

Think /r/AskLemmy but way more NSFW.

Treat this community like a cross between /c/AskLemmy, /c/Sex, and /c/Fetishes.

  • All posts must be in the form of a question and be largely NSFW.

  • Only text posts are allowed. Links can be posted if they are very relevant.

POST GUIDELINES:

  • Try to avoid questions that can simply be googled or have yes/no answers.

  • Search before you post. Your question may have been asked before.

  • If you ask medical/physical questions don’t always trust the comments here.

  • Avoid low-effort comments. Lone images, memes, jokes etc.

  • Treat all questions as if they’re real, no matter how ridiculous.
