I’ve been enjoying A1111, but wondering what people recommend as an alternative that it a bit easier to interact with for less technical people? I would love to introduce some family and friends to SD, and run a server for them that they can access.

Ideally allow for features like ControlNet would be amazing, but not a requriement.

Unless you build the new user interface yourself, there currently is nothing user friendly that exists.

@cwista

Didn’t OpenAI put out their interface to dreamstudio as an open source project a while ago?

That may be easier to use GUI wise, though I have not tried it.

Iirc it was just a front end to their company hosted API, but the intent was to allow it to hook into other backbends like auto1111 at some point.

I’ll go see if I can find the link

You can use Lucid Creations or Artbot which are fairly simple to start with, and then you don’t need to setup as server as well. Instead you could join your PC to the AI Horde and give them priority.

Here: https://github.com/Stability-AI/StableStudio

It says you can connect it to any backend if you make a plugin. If someone has an auto1111 plugin made then that might be what you want.

Ymmv, I’ve not tried it yet.

There is a plugin for StableStudio to work with auto1111 which I haven’t tried:

I was quite liking EasyDiffusion. It’s like A1111 but less confusing.

that looks neat, but I would prefer a docker container setup rather than that setup. I get its geared more towards non-technical so thats neat
