That 1st half was a literal snoozefest, 2nd half I expected rashford to be subbed off for garnacho, starting to think the only reason rashford played well at all last season was because of shaw

Maguire has improved & fought for his position, hope he keeps it up & doesn’t get complacent

Mctominay was OK but could do a lot better thought the pen was very harsh, I was surprised he wasn’t subbed instead of Amrabat tho

Eriksen as usual a great player with great passing changed the game

I still can’t believe rashford & garnacho didn’t put their chances away!

Fernandes was nonexistent first half, then was much better 2nd half, I’m curious why we even bought mount at this point, we should have spent that 60mill on a cb ffs

There’s so many places in the squad £60m would have been better spent than on a player who basically plays the same position as Bruno

Heartbroken by this wonderful Copenhagen team again.

They’re playing so well against these top teams, but are losing out on a more deserved result third game in a row.

Hopefully There’s points to collect in Parken when facing United and Gala in the return legs.

Deserved? Are you having a laugh? We should have put this game to bed with multiple 1-on-1s after the Maguire goal. If we could finish it should have been 3-1 or 4-1

I mean, no. It’s not like Garnacho’s poor touch was a fluke- he’s way too young/raw to be relied upon as a consistent player for United. If it were some seasoned top player who missed it, then sure you could say the goal should have been scored. But this is what Man U has to work with right now. “If we could finish” = “We can’t finish, we aren’t a very reliable attacking side, we’re not that good tbh”

Like, you didn’t put the game to bed because the team is not good enough, period. That’s their level.

I am known to be biased when commenting on my own team. It’s nice to meet someone who tops that.

Hojlund’s surprised me, this boy isn’t just meat. He’s got some solid technique, great technique I should say, considering he’s a 9 and how the current “best striker in the world” isn’t expected to be able to control a ball.

Man Utd are still stuck in a cycle of despair, they are never far away from a shellacking. The fact is the team still looks directionless in possession, and the last few results scraping results against poor sides have been driven by players Ten Hag tried to ship off in the summer. I thought they would be good with him in charge but the squad composition is incoherent. Whenever they try to implement positional play they get battered because they can’t do it, so they revert to counterattacking football, rinse reposed, they’ll probably beat City on Sunday and then lose 3-0 to Fulham.

Some absolute beatings are on the horizon for United if they don’t sharpen up massively

Unless this “turning point” is actually a turning point and not just business as usual
