According to that post’s comments, our community/lemmy also comes up early in searches on Yahoo, Bing, and Duckduckgo! Wooooo!

I’m honestly more impressed that someone took the time to check Yahoo. Even my grandparents stopped using it, and their email is on AOL

We would need Google to aggregate instances together for the benefit of search results, but the host instance is great to see.

Maybe when Reddit removes indexer access, Google may put some effort towards replacing it, but I wouldn’t give my hopes up waiting for Google Search to get better.

Interestingly, I searched on ddg, and Lemmy is on 8th place, and reddit is not in the first page.

It slowly comes into its own for a bit, then starts nosediving for a few episodes culminating in the godawful penultimate episode. The finale is really nice, though!
