why is it that men dressed revealingly is somehow associated with femininity? itโ€™s just sexy, we need more of it, thereโ€™s nothing backwards about it

Take the gender connotation out of clothing period. Let men wear dresses, and it be manly if thatโ€™s what they want. Let women wear full plate, and call it feminine if thatโ€™s what they want.

I want more women in tuxedos and more men in gowns and as much variety in expression as we are capable of in mind!

Sometimes a dude just wants to feel pretty.

I donโ€™t think it needs to be masculine either. I want beauty and sex appeal to be seen as its own concept completely separate from dumb gendered norms.

Probably because attractive masculine attire is generally portrayed as either minimalist or sweat soaked dress shirt and tie. A little embellishment to a loin cloth like a thong strap or frills would just make it feminine. Masculine oddly shares a lot of overlap with utilitarian.

No! Too much cloth, not enough top-hat

Sometimes it can get the opposite effect.

(Iโ€™m a straight male) At times it might be easier to watch the male equivalent being around than the female one - at least the male equivalent wouldnโ€™t risk me getting aroused too often ๐Ÿ˜‚ That can be stressful too!

Bisexual and Trans people really had it bad in the 90s.

I dont believe people who are trans are inherently bisexual. In fact the majority of trans individuals i have met stated to be straight.

I never said Trans people were bisexual.

Of LGBT only the lesbian and the gay portion got respect in the 90s.

Very nice!!!

EDIT: I mean it. Very nice. Being a bisexual man in the early nineties royally sucked. I had to be closeted in two camps. Almost all of my straight acquaintances were homophobic (most people were to one degree or another) and my gay acquaintances gave me shit about either being a closeted gay man that didnโ€™t want to accept his sexuality or being greedy (whatever the fuck that meant). I honestly wish I could be twenty again just so I could be able to live without all of that negativity.
