Sydney punk rock legends, Hard-Ons were ground breaking in the sense that their band members family backgrounds reflected multi-cultural Australia in a way that wan’t so common in the 80’s and 90s.

Some of their stuff was a little more hardcore than my general taste at the time, but I got into some of the more melodic tunes like Where Does She Come From and have developed a greater appreciation of them in recent years.

Their most recent stuff has veered towards more straight-ahead indie rock (at least on their recorded stuff) with the addition of You Am I’s Tim Rogers and there’s nothing to not like about that.

I’m a fan of this newer tune they released a few years ago. I keep meaning to go back and listen to their older stuff.

Nice. Listening to it, I thought it sounds early 2000s nu metal almost.

I’m sure they named their band that so they would be introduced like"I give you Hard-Ons!"
