I don’t understand why the UN even has to ask Russia. It is in Ukraine, ask Ukraine for permission.Then, just send in a rescue group. I am pretty sure the rescue personal will need protection from the terrorists that are on the east bank, but I bet the US and Poland could whip up a peacekeeping force pretty quick.
