I emailed Reddit and got a response that they changed their support mechanism, now it can’t be an email and must be a support form. Is this a recent change to deter people from complaining?

Most definetly. Could also be a technical necessity if they got spammed hard (as they should).

Steve must have done a lot of drugs this weekend.

They keep making the reddit experience worse instead of better… It’s interesting to watch them ruin it.

Completely tone death to the community as well.

I can only imagine how frustrating it must be for people who try to reach these guys, write long detailed emails with their point of view, and then get an email back “please use a form instead”.

Lols.
