Posy is a very inspirational youtube channel covering various random topics and phenomena in the context of computers, hifi and other forms of media.
The most recent video “Dots” is about the various halftone-patterns found in print. Some other favorites of mine include the video about “Terragen Classic” (an old piece of software to render landscapes) and his video about the design of segmented displays. Both are linked below:

What is media?
From a classical standpoint: Media is everything that conveys some kind of meaning. Pretty much anything goes. Movies, audio, images, photography, design, interactive pieces, art, sculptures, code, ai stuff, cave paintings…
Rules
Apart from site-wide and instance-specific rules I don’t really want to explicitly introduce any rules at this point in time. Just make sure that whatever you post has some form of objective quality.
Also give credit whenever you can and feel free to add descriptions and context to keep this place accessible for everyone.
