most software will let you search specific strings. so like, “Will” != “will”

frankly that plus what the other guy’s comment said, this seems like a non-issue that you’re kind of responsible for if you just decide to seek no solution and truck through the significant extra labor.

You can search for " Ed " with spaces to get isolated instances of the name

That’s the english language’s own fault for being so terrible. Also, for Ed, just try " Ed ", with a leading and ending space. For Will, you will have a battle of wills to find the Will, unless he left a will
