A connection to a network you don’t control should never be considered secure.

However, as long as you’re using encrypted connections, it is not possible to see much more than your clients DNS requests (as long as they’re not encrypted as well), plus the servers you connect to.

If you want that last bit of privacy from whoever owns that network, use a VPN.
