Karius on 10k per week… I’m sure there are performance bonuses but christ is that low for a guy who started in a Champions League final not too long ago

He signed a contract extension so it probably isn’t anymore. But he was initially bought for only 3m to be a backup cb and his CV consisted of entirely championship appearances.

He’s one of our best players and has been our starting right back for 6 seasons now, last contract he was given was in 2020 after we’d just finished 9th in the prem
