It’s a pun on PC LOAD LETTER, which is an old error message roughly meaning “load letter paper into the paper cartridge”. The other person thought you replied to the other² person.
cat is the program that reads the contents of specific file
litter is the file
means forward the output of the program to the file
/dev/lp0 is Line Printer 0 so just printer

It it me or I just read it in tune of Particle men. Or is it a parody of particle men.
It’s to the tune of the 1967 Spider-Man TV show theme. I imagine the particle man song also references it.
“But… It’s warm! Warm things are meant for sitting on!”
I know right? My first thought was put a heating pad on the windowsill, and the cat will be much more likely to choose that spot.
