I’ve been having some really random disconnection issues lately. Can’t play any games like this, interrupts downloads, streams, it’s getting annoying.

I have Century Link 940 mbps, they say it’s stable, the lights on my modem are green, troubleshooter checks out fine, speed test is good, brand new ethernet cable, tech support came in and replaced the WAN wire too. But I get these random quick disconnects and then it reconnects right after.

At first I thought this was just with ethernet, but it happens when I connect only to wifi too. So now I’m wondering if I have something wrong with my modem, or some network setting on my PC I need to fix. Or could it be some instability elsewhere?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Are these logs from a device provided by Century Link, perhaps the modem itself? If so, the problem is clearly Century Link’s. It even says that Wi-Fi/Ethernet is ok but the Internet connection is down.

You need to press Century Link to fix their problem. Show them this log.

The log is just from a Chrome web extension I got to monitor the blips. I thought the problem may be how my machine is set up, but it must be Century Link. Maybe my Century Link modem needs replacing too. I’ll follow-up with them again, thanks for the comment.
