One of the kids has accidentally snapped this cable bringing the WiFi down.

Could somebody tell me:

  1. What this cable is
  2. Who do I get to fix it? An electrician or is this beyond that?

Thanks!

“not me” is always the name of the person that broke the fiber.

Other than providing power to network equipment and computers, keep Mr Sparky away from any network cabling. Nothing good comes from and electrician doing any data cabling. Nothing. Ever.

That cable shouldn’t affect your WiFi… But it would certainly affect your internet.

Just because nobody’s asked – how does one accidentally snap a cable in an enclosed box like that?

Took my eyes off my nephew. Kid yanked it off the wall and had a field day! Couldn’t believe it to be honest!
