I’m not looking for price to performance I’m looking for endurance and from the research I’ve done it looks like ssd have more endurance that hard drives do u guys recommend a ssd for nas use 1 to 4 tb ssd’s are what I’m looking for

I go for nas-focussed HDDs - Ironwolves and so on. I’d only deploy SSDs if I was running virtual machines with lots of concurrent users.

Depends on the amount of data you are writing and the DWPD of an SSD. Also, take into the account parity if you’re doing RAID: https://support.liveoptics.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000498588-Average-Daily-Writes
