Luton 2 points off Derby’s record which r/Soccer and Twitter insisted they’d have trouble beating because their ground has 2 houses next to it
I’ve been saying it since the beginning of the season (and am keeping the receipts for my pals,) but it’s absurd how memes fueled people’s beliefs that this would be an all time terrible team. They were third in the championship and very much deserving of being promoted.
They aren’t good, but memes aren’t reality either.
Would love to see Luton survive this season. Good on the small club that could!
After hearing the despicable things their fans sing, I hope they’re relegated back to the national league.
