TL;DR - Best way to wire Shielded CAT6a cable to shielded keystones.

Hello all, looking for a bit of advice on terminating shielded CAT6a into keystones for a wall plate.

Recently purchased some External Shielded CAT6a to run around my house to get better internet upstairs. Running it internally wasn’t an option.

This is my first time working with shielded cable, and I am slightly confused how to correctly terminate it to make sure the shielding is used as intended.

From watching a few YouTube videos everyone seems to do it slightly differently. In my case, the cable has a metal braiding encasing the 4 individually shielded twisted pairs. As each of the twisted pairs are individually shielded I am assuming I need to fold back each one over the cable jacket after folding back this braided wire.

I am then guessing that by enclosing the cable with the metal outer on the keystone this then completes the shield as long as it clamps down on the cable shielding?

As you may be able to tell from the wording/terminology I’m not sure what I’m doing with the shielding side of things😂😅.

I have also read that connecting both ends of the cable’s shielding to the metal part of the keystone causes problems with ground loops but if there’s no power going through it, I think I’m good?

Anyway, any info and advice anyone can give would be greatly appreciated.
