The tyranny of Thursday is upon us. Another one of these “not quite the weekend days” that life keeps throwing at us. What has got you fuming on this, the worst day of the week?

I, for one, are taking the kids shoe shopping.

It’s lovely and sunny today; a beautiful day to be anywhere but at work, but the weekend is due to be miserable.

Almost half day Friday. My back is still killing me and I hate it.

Backs are the worst. When are humans going to evolve into jellyfish-like creatures? Next month hopefully.

I’m fuming about this fainting condition I have. Passed out in the loo last night and went face first into some drawers. Cut my cheek open really deeply, nearly all the way through, and need a specialist to stitch my face back together. Been waiting 8 hours in A&E and a bit more time to wait.

Not the NHS fault, they’re doing great with thy funding they have and also the senior doctors strike happening today.

I’ve always maintained that Wednesdays are actually the worst day of the week because even if for some inexplicable reason time started to move backwards, it would still be just as long until the weekend. This deep philosophy brought to you by TeaHands, age 8.

Nowadays I also hate Wednesdays because it’s my busiest work day and weekly projects need to be wrapped up and released, but on the bright side Thursdays are basically full of relief before the panic of next week’s project really starts to build.

Anyway. A complaint. I have to sleep with earplugs in because of a noise situation in our bedroom, and we found Loop earplugs which are super comfy to wear and fit me well and don’t fall out or give me headaches or whatever. BUT I now spend all day every day feeling like there are phantom earplugs in my ears and it’s really disconcerting.
