We’re going to get a manager the sack this season. We used to do it in the Championship all the time.

This is what the ‘Teams Like Luton™’ mentality does to clubs.

Tbf he has such bad luck with injuries, and he was pushing for us to buy so we had more depth. Can’t really blame him too much

Yea he can only do so much with our roster, especially attack when our best 2 have barely seen a match together. Weird slant

Shouldn’t have replaced Viera

You can argue the timing but not the decision. We didnt even have a shot on goal for almost a month before he was sacked

Zaha leaves, they’ve needed a proper goal scorer for donks, a LW Zaha replacement and a new RB since AwB left, yet they spend €25mill on seriously injured Franca. He finally gets fit, makes like one sub appearance, underwhelms and is never used again?. Then Hodgson slags him and Rak sayki off.

Baffling goings on around recruitment at Palace tbh. What a dumb way to navigate that summer just gone.

Then Ayew who must have some of the worst stats for an “attacker” I’ve ever seen in the premier league, gets yet another new contract? Whole thing is bizarre

Ayew is fine, most people were fine with him being given a new contract - i’m not sure why neutrals who clearly don’t watch us play seem to have such strong opinions on it

I’ve watched every single Palace game for the last 3 years. My entire family lived right near the stadium. My Nan, Grandad and Uncle are all Palace fans. They’ve become my second team.

Don’t assume things. Ayew is not fine - he’s garbage.

He’s not garbage at all though, genuinely baffles me how people can watch us and think that! We should probably be looking for improvements but he’s still in our best XI when fit, and is a good squad player otherwise, offering him a new contract is perfectly reasonable.
