I’d go Asus pro art laptops.
I think the Dell XPS laptop with FHD will be great if you’re looking for a windows laptop. You have to make sure the monitor option you order is with FHD. Core i7 and at least 16GB RAM and a good size drive. I think by the time you factor in the display cost, ram and drive, you’re already in a MacBook Pro territory.
I have a MacBook Air m2 13” and does the work completely fine for the basics. Should go for pro if also doing video editing.
Apple MacBook, make sure it has the M1 or later processor though. I have one and it’s great for video editing also if she looks into that also.
