The top comment is gold

Josh Allen was the next QB picked after Darnold

Someone else correctly predicted Darnold would be a bust too

Predicting any QB the Jets draft to be a bust isn’t exactly a stretch no matter where they pick them.

Betting on the Jets being the Jets is a pretty safe bet.

I was shocked how much Darnold was hyped because I had watched his college games. Interception throwing machine. But Greenie creamed his jeans on national TV over him.

Well I mean that shouldn’t have been too difficult to predict. He went to USC AND was drafted by the Jets

The post on the Jets sub celebrating us picking Allen instead of Rosen is always a fun read

Pretty sure the Bills sub had one dooming over the pick but you cowards deleted it

“The first quarterback taken after the Jets pick goes on to be a hall of famer”

Josh Allen has been pretty good so far.

If all the 2018 QBs I’d say he has the best chance unless Lamar escapes the hell that is the Ravens offense

Josh Allen was also called the next Jay Cutler……which I don’t necessarily disagree with but I’m pretty high on Jay Cutler.

Bro lmao. This comment will be correct if Allen wins at least one SB imo

I remember seeing a Bills fan I know post something like “Josh Allen? Are you fucking kidding me???” On social media.

I followed up by saying “Hey, I thought the same thing about Trubisky last year, but that looks great so far. Keep your head up!”

Oh how foolish I was… As a Bears fan I should’ve known

Yeah that comment was painfully accurate as a Jets fan…

Barkley is not the best rb that comes from this class.

I would say this is accurate, Nick Chubb was basically always better outside of rookie year.

But they have certainly been two of the better running backs in the league, so it’s not even much of a knock on Saquan.

Saquon it’s just his health unfortunately

I still think Barkley would be a HoF level RB if he went to any sort of competent org… we ruined a hell of a highlight reel by making him the only threat and sticking him behind a dog shit line his entire career lol

Atlanta is trying to do the same thing and ruin the career of my boy Bijan.

We over used Saquon in a bad system, their system seems to be “use the other guy” lol

I really feel sad for guys like him who just have their careers wasted. There are a lot of them in the league. Who knows how many of us could have been flowers with enough water and care?

Hell, look at Barkley his rookie year with Eli. He was still awesome. But unfortunately, the Giants have a terrible line and Daniel Jones was who they bet the house on

He was hurt as much as he was healthy. Some of them were dumb luck, like stepping on his opponent’s foot and missing several games with a bum ankle.

For sure injuries play into it too. But he has been our entire offense, so hes taking more hits, and most of them are well behind the line lol

Saquon has the talent to be a first ballot Hall of Famer. However while he has struggled by being on the Giants during a down era for them I’m pretty confident he would get injured to some degree no matter what team he played for.

Baker was always competent in Cleveland though and gave their offense a chance to spread the ball, opening up running for Chubb

The giants have had… an array not non-competence at the QB position since Barkley was taken

permalink

I don’t have a post in that thread to make fun of, but I definitely didn’t think Chubb would be a consistent top tier back.

The browns literally had to trade their aged RB1 so hue Jackson would play Chubb. And he was good before the trade. Hue just refused to utilize him.
