Even my 5g barely gets 2 bars on a good day. The only wifi (router located in the basement) rarely connects for long. Helppp

Most mobile phone provider offer “Wi-Fi Calling” meaning your phone will use wifi to call & send SMS. Check your phone & turn on that option.

Yeah… I did that and began to get texts saying “where are you? Why are calls going straight to voicemail?”

Couldn’t even make a call until I turned it off yesterday.

So be careful with wifi calling.

You can either get a 4G / 5G outdoor antenna or change your mobile provider hoping it’s better than the old one.

Otherwise, there isn’t much you can do.

Move home or work around the signal limitations.

For android, I use an app called Connection Stabilizer Booster which helps to some extent using some tricks and optimizations, no magic though. Worth a try!

Only real solution is installing a cell network booster with External antenna for cell connectivity, and adding additional access points for wifi.
