I’ve been growing slightly more with each Season (last one I reached 90) and after a lot of tryhard-ing this time I finally got to max level~
Congrats! I hit it my first season and have never made it back.
Any particular deck get you there?
I have two concepts for decks, both based on seasonal updates, though I changed the cards pretty often.
The first is a Silver Surfer 3 cost buff type. At first I had Nakia in there as well (and probably did better with her) as well as trying out Dazzler and Shadow King to counter other Silver Surfers. It boosted me a good bit, though after reaching the high 80s I started finding it lackluster.
My big winner was the Arnim Zola/Knull destroy combo. After Magik got her buff this week I swapped her in along with Mr. Negative, removing a few Destroy type cards but greatly amplifying the combo potential. Playing either a 0-Cost Knull or Zola with each other (Or both at 0, with a possible Mystique or Iron Man thrown in) is devastating. Also works as a Galactus counter sometimes.
