i continue to be amazed by how incompetent the BOM is
In their defense, it’s super hard to predict the weather in Melbourne. Between the influences of the Southern and Pacific oceans, plus weather patterns can come from either the North or West. In short, the weather can come from any direction.
For Perth, it all comes from the Indian Ocean and the predictions are pretty accurate as a result.

Did anyone else notice [description of weather]? It makes me feel [extreme emotion].
Melbcat’s claws really needed a trim, they were catching on the carpet as she walked but her nail clippers are gone… they went to the cattery along with her slicker brush which did come back. I have no idea why they would have been taken out and left there as they obviously weren’t used. Perhaps they got misplaced on unpacking?
It’s fine if they got left behind, they were quite cheap. It just would have been nice to realise it sooner so a new one could have been added to the Kmart order. Melbcat had to borrow the human nail clippers.
