Palestinian group rejected an Israeli offer to stop fighting for one week in exchange for dozens of hostages, saying it wouldn’t discuss releasing their Israeli captives until a cease-fire goes into effect first.

Hamas shouldn’t negotiate with terrorists. It isn’t a good idea.

So then you admit you advocate for full on war then? Because newsflash, both the IDF and Hamas are terrorists that have done unspeakable things. I’m not saying both sides are the same but I am saying that they both are absolutely fucked ideologically speaking with a lot of blood on their hands and thus if the bottom line is no negotiation with terrorists then there can only be more war and death

Wall Street Journal: “The overwhelming majority of Palestinians blame Israel for the death, destruction and dislocation caused by the war. Yet many Gazans say that Hamas is also responsible for the suffering, and that those voices are getting louder"

People are dying every minute. 90-80% of the people dying are civilians by the IDFs own metrics.

The hostages are not being executed.

It’s not unreasonable to ask two groups to stop killing each other before negotiating.

The IDFs position is we are going to keep killing until you do what we want, then we are going to kill you some more… Fair enough, that’s what militaries do, but don’t act so surprised the counter party doesnt want to talk

So you think they will release the hostages but won’t till after the ceasefire? Why wouldn’t they agree then? I can’t understand your point. If they had any intention of actually releasing some wouldn’t that be acceptable?

Israel has about 7000 hostages (inlcuding kids, poets, grandmothers etc) and also re-imprisoned some of those released under the last deal. Most of those still held by Hamas are actually military so prisoners of war.

I don’t know if they will or won’t.

I just know you can’t claim the other side is being disingenuous in negotiations while you’re killing them one-sidedly

the IDF allegedly separated the men from the women and children, and then shot and killed at least 11 of the men, mostly aged in their late 20’s and early 30’s, in front of their family members. The IDF then allegedly ordered the women and children into a room, and either shot at them or threw a grenade into the room, reportedly seriously injuring some of them, including an infant and a child. OHCHR has confirmed the killings at Al Awdabuilding, although the details and circumstances of the killings are still under verification. IDF has not released any information on the incident.

@Squizzy I can make up anything too, it’s very easy, however, it will not make it true. There were literally 0 proof of any of it.

It’s not made up, it’s the basis of a UN report…you know the organisation that created Israel as we know…the organisation Israel continues to ignore in it’s aggressive expansion of it’s apartheid state.

This is the basis for a UN report and the deaths have been confirmed. The IDF have form for this.

Israel is not offering a ceasefire. It’s offering a few days of pause. The killing will continue, regardless.
