A buoy near Manatee Bay recorded an astounding 101.1-degree water temperature Monday, a temperature common for hot tubs.
Warm water breeds stronger hurricanes quicker. This is pretty scary news for any Floridians who are already nervous about hurricane season.
Didn’t you hear you’re not allowed to think such things, man. There are INNOCENTS that still live there and therefore we must coddle the whole state that collectively makes bad decisions. /s
I totally get the compassionate idea with that, but we kind of have to live and die as the collective. Seems we’ve chosen to die, some states faster than others. I’m glad I’m in a slower declining state.

What do you mean? There’s a ton of liberal areas like Miami that nevertheless have to live with 104 degree, 80% humidity. I actively thought that staying outside for more than 30 minutes was a health risk. And even if they’re conservative, I dread to think of how the elderly are handling this…
