You know what I hate about the term “corrupt”? Part of the meaning is “not working the way it’s intended” and I find that funny because only in a communist country does the term " corrupt politician" actually coincide with the way in which the west uses it.
To explain, the west likes to say " corrupt politician" as a way to describe someone taking bribes from corporations and ather big money and oligarchs. Except this is a capitalist system. The government is supposed to work that way, but the oligarchy doesn’t want you to know that. So they use all these false narratives to make you THINK that you are living in a society that is supposed to work for the working man, but as we know, it doesn’t.
The funny thing is, in this instance, they are actually using the term the right way. An actual corrupt politician in China is one that’s in bed with the the big business and the capitalist class and I think that the wests narrative is starting to show.
This article almost looks as if they are hinting that demonizing the corrupt politicians and businesses is bad because by a capitalists system, the “corrupt” are actually the ones doing what they were always supposed to be doing. Fucking over the proletariate to benefit the capitalist.
Does this make sense? lol
Unrelated to this, I’ve always found it amusing when the western media use the communist emblem in order to make the communist party seem super powerful. When they show them, they always use the communist symbol and it’s weirdly artistic. That makes me feel powerful too, since the communists fight for people like me!
edit : The more people realize their position as workers in their country and the world, the more they will see this propaganda technique for what it is. It will only empower the working class in the end, in my opinion.
It is likely the western media will eventually turn its back on this tactic and portray them as incompetent and disorganized. It’s obvious what the propaganda technique is if you Google “China cpc” and look at the images.
I remember good ol’ times in Yugoslavia under Josip Broz Tito when workers lived like kings, no more and no less good than their fellow comrades in the Party. And the same can be seen throughout the countries that adopted communism at some point in their history. Common folk always had the lifestyle and privileges same as distinguished Party members. Even if you weren’t member of the Party or were voicing your displeasure with Party’s politics, you would live a long and prosperous life.
You people both insist that communism is “when everyone’s paycheck is the same” and also “communism is when a rich elite rules over everyone else.”
Which is it? You can never make up your minds. It’s almost like you’re just regurgitating ideas someone else stuffed into your head without thought.
Who needs critical thought when you have racism and xenophobia. You can get westerners to believe anything about foreigners and domestic minorities.

It’s a Chinese cop show, but instead of poor black people like in Amerika, they hunt down corrupt party officials and bourgeois scum circumventing Chinese law. It’s amazing and available for free with English subs on YouTube.
It is literally propaganda, but could you explain to me how it is bad or negative propaganda?
The overarching motifs of the show are that the Chinese state is committed to protecting the rights of the workers. Let me give you an example:
In one arc, a factory owner hires mercenaries and dresses them up as cops in order to break a strike. In response, the anti-corruption bureau gets involved and arrests said mercenaries and demands a negotiation on behalf of the workers.
Another arc is about a Chinese businessman who has been bribing corrupt party officials in order to push for a return to bourgeois rule. When his accomplices are arrested, he is ‘forced’ to flee to Amerika, where the only job he can land is one of manual labor - a janitor - making shit wages and experiencing great disrespect for that occupation. His Westaboo petit bourgeois son convinces him to do this, claiming that Amerika is the true land of opportunity.
Arresting corrupt party officials and punishing bourgeois criminals are good things, or do you disagree?
I will say - from my limited perspective on the machinations of the Chinese people’s republic - I believe that the show is quite brutally honest. It shows privatization occuring. It shows the ramifications thereof. Sympathetic older characters yearn for the days of Mao. It shows class war in action.
Let me also ask: is it not worthwhile to merely engage with propaganda from elsewhere, even if it is negative? If you maintain critical thinking skills while watching it, I believe you can learn more about China in its entirety from this one show than damn near anything coming out of imperialist rags like HRW, the BBC, or WSJ.

Even if they did force check Africans, I’d check to see if they were in fact force checking everyone as that seems far more likely than targeting a single community for no reason.
