I know they are mostly in TV and Movies but might be someone deal with Music scene.
For music I use Soulseek (Nicotine+) or rutracker. They offer Flac with high bitrate but also mp3. No need to use irc or deemix
I’ll do ya one better:
Get a free trial to Deezer. Install deemix. Use deemix to rip all of the lossless music you want. Cancel trial. Repeat as needed.
I’m member of RED so finding flac not a problem. I asked for older SCENE releases that might be filled with requests on these servers.
RED has a thread for scene requests doesn’t it? Otherwise it can be tough if it’s not on Soulseek as you’ll need topsites or dc++ private hub access which is extremely difficult. There are some forums that used to be around and not as hard to find as well as more public sites that you had to pay for (0daymp3 was the name or some crap) but they don’t have as much as the archives in the top places
@Reocken @borat @GlitzyArmrest as far as i know, deemix is not hosted anywhere, as I think they got taken down or the domain expired or something? i have an old version i can throw online if you want it though
