Nothing. Anything that happens to me happens for my benefit, even if I can’t see it at that time.

Are you familiar with the term “post-hoc rationalization”?

It’s certainly possible that’s what I do to some degree. But it beats being stuck regretting a past you cannot change rather than learning from it and moving forward.

the memorial in Hiroshima Japan. And equivocally pearl harbour. Pearl harbour was a must after Hiroshima as you can see how a side can really darken and twist a lot of it with a heavy layer of undying racism. Kids in Japan still send paper cranes.

I’m not sure if I am misunderstanding you, but pearl harbor was bombed before Hiroshima or Nagasaki.

Racism? You misunderstand why racism?

Have you been to Hiroshima? People have been remorseful. I don’t think you could mistaken that if you had been to Hiroshima.

There is no defence for racism. after you bomb a bunch of children.

Can imagine. Visited the Yad Vashem holocaust museum in Jerusalem and the holocaust museum in Berlin. Both were awesome and brutal experiences. Well worth a visit.

I have been to Mauthausen concentration camp.
Harrowing expereince, especially when you are walking through one of the buildings with lots of artifacts in glass cases and information on plaques and go through a doorway and suddenly your in a room with floor to ceiling tiles and shower heads…

Something one of my exes said to me that id rather not think about let alone repeat. Break ups can bring out an evil darkness in people that you didn’t know was there.

I fully admit, I thought a crushing trump defeat and a dual chamber Clinton victory would finally force the Republican party back to sanity.

Back in those days, I dunno, I didn’t exactly think we’d solve problems like climate change or sweatshops but they weren’t beyond all possibility.
