Love that the implementation, rudimentary as it is, has a router. Everything “needs” to be connected to the internet these days…

If I ever see a toilet with a padlock on it I’m going to be very angry.
That’s already not great, but yeah, I think it’s a little worse. With a door, at least you can easily tell that it’s locked; with this toilet, you wouldn’t know until after you think the stall or bathroom is available. And this way you need to touch the toilet lid and seat to unlock and re-lock it. Plus, I expect it would inspire some people who don’t have the key to pee right on it out of spite.
