In a recent interview, the California governor discusses Trump’s campaign odds, calling him “damaged goods”
California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) has been making the media rounds in recent weeks, appearing as a guest to help kick-off the 22nd season of “Real Time with Bill Maher” — on which he discussed the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes — and jumping on MSNBC to speak to host Alex Wagner about the ways in which Donald Trump’s political career is going off the rails, over the median and into the bushes.
Referring to Trump as “damaged goods,” Newsom had a quite a few notes on the former president and 2024 GOP frontrunner’s campaign performance, saying, “He is weakness masquerading as strength . . . He can’t be beaten in a primary, but in a general election, I think he’s the most flawed candidate in my lifetime."
I watched some of the GWB parodies. I never had any interest in watching Trump parodies, and I’d be annoyed to have comedians do them in shows I otherwise liked.
It’s not funny anymore, and it wasn’t really that fun then, although satire is a valid method of political commentary. But week after week, there’s nothing new, nothing that’s more shocking than what was already known. They’re fully and completely terrible persons, who should never have political power. Don’t need to embody them to understand that.
To be honest I’ve never really thought anything related to him was funny
And Gavin Newson literally cleared up San Francisco just so a dictator could come here and push Americans around. Yuppies are the worst
But he will win :(
