That website describes that.
TLDR Spoofed characters look like normal characters but they’re not and, unless automod has a filter for them too, it won’t detect them.

Ummm - I think that’s a rule of Subreddit drama. The mods have set up a rule against spamming the admins. In the same way that they have a rule against brigading. I bet you don’t get that error outside of that sub.
