The bigger the better, and the parts just keep getting bigger. 10” major diameter, 4350 heat-treat, ~40Rc. This bitch is tough, but that’s that shit I like. Blurry 6” scale for reference on my tool post.

Sounds like a lot of whittling to be done haha. Brake any tools yet, some hardend steel is quite the stubborn mule.

It has been a motherfucker, thus far any sort of non-coated carbide just melts, no matter feed/speed/RPM/coolant, it’s just too hot. Switched to a TiCN SCMT and it’s been slow but pretty gravy since then.
