I’ve been trying Kbin more the past couple days, and I’m really liking it a lot more now that I understand what’s going on. Seems like it might be helpful if there was a quick (optional) onboarding process for new users to point out the basics of the interface and how to find content.

I fear with a lack of a mobile app, kbin isn’t going to catch on right now. I’m signed up at both kbin and Lemmy, and while kbin seems superior - I’m more inclined to use Lemmy right now because of the jarboa app.

Oh, that is good news! I can see Kbin being the next Digg>Fark>Reddit iteration with a working app and 3rd party app support. I’ll check back soon. Thanks for the link.
