I don’t use Twitter, I mainly use it for casual research. Before I would use nitter, but ever since its shutdown I couldn’t find any alternatives. Is there any way to browse Twitter without creating an account?

Some instances are still clinging to life. I wouldn’t rely on them but use them while you can.

Try again later. Or try finding some other instance.

Create a general account(you don’t have to provide any phone number, only a valid email address) and use Squawker app from fdroid inserting the credentials you created in it.

You can use guerilla mail to create a temporary email address, which you can use to register on twitter.

This is what I do (assuming OP is on Android?).

You could use Github & Obtainium rather than F-Droid (faster updates for when the Muskrat dicks about with Twitter api again).

Or Mastodon. I like Megalodon

Sometimes I see the content flash across the screen before the signin popup. Maybe an extension could take advantage of that?

Ever since the 3rd party apps stopped working I’ve only been using it via browser which is nice as it allows you to block ads.
