Mine are listening to music, playing video games, watching films and TV shows (on occasion), and napping (only the best hobbies for me!!)

Recently finished making my own radio station.

I like to swim in the river behind my house, but its been so hot recently the river is even hotter than the water I shower in.

Looking to get into home assistant/home automation when I get more money, but to prep I’m currently in the process of setting up Debian on an old gaming laptop so I can start learning docker containers. The only issue is I have like 350kb/sec download speed and worse upload.

So I’m building a tiki bar in the most remote spot on my property, only way in is a rope bridge over a medium sized river. Going for an island cabana style, and to fit the theme I made my own FM radio station playing tropical/island/reggae/surf rock stuff. I modded GTA 4 and 5 to rip the radio announcers from both and picked out the ones that fit my theme and did kind of a manual shuffle of it all. Normalized the volume so everything has a consistent sound and ittl eventually be powered off of a 12v solar power+battery curcit Ill need to run a freezer and lights out there.

But yes right now I can have as many FM radios as I want within probably a 250ft circumference. And the only way youd know is the announcer says ‘hello liberty city’ or ‘good evening Los sontos’ instead of my shitty hick towns name.

I could turn it up to 1-2 mile rage but
the FCC won’t let me be
Or let me be me so let me see
They try to shut me down on MTV
But it feels so empty without me

wow, that sounds amazing! Very cool.

I’ve always been interested in radios and transmitters, but never built one.

I really enjoy bird watching. It may sound very lame but it’s so fun I swear lol

I used to have a bird feeder on my balcony and there was more drama going down on that thing than a reality tv show. What I observed is that most birds are assholes. I also have a bird guide that I take with me whenever I go hiking and its like looking for Pokémon

I used to have a big bird feed ball dangling on the clothes line. This clothes line was from one wall to the other. It was so cool to see birds just taking nibbles.

Then a crow came along, cut the clothesline with its beak, and stole the whole ball feed ball and flew off.

Birds are legit assholes.

lol I love the birds too. I have some feeders out and it’s a constant battle between the woodpeckers and finches.
