I’m starting a new DW campaign this Sunday , and I love asking my players weird questions to tickle their creativity bones!

So give me some good questions! I’ll give y’all some:

  • Who last left you drunk in a tavern?

  • Why are you covered in food right now?

  • Where did you lose your favorite hat?

  • When will your reoccurring dream come true?

  • How do you like these new clothes?

  • What is obstructing your vision right now?

I always like developing interesting relationships between the player characters (PCs) so they can roleplay without any GM influence so I like questions like “What is it about [other PC] that you find so strange/fascinating?” or “Cleric, how are you trying to convert [other PC]?”

I find your questions a bit too suggestive for my personal taste. As a player I would be probably a bit irritated.

I always liked the “Phase Trio” from Fate Core: https://fate-srd.com/fate-core/phase-trio.

That’s the purpose of Dungeon World questions.
