Hi everyone. I am trying to backup data from a clients PC and he has hunderds of files with file path name that is too long for 256 character limit.

I tried backing it all up with total commander, but it gives me the same message, saying that the file name path is too long.

I think there is an option for it, but I haven’t found it after one hour.

Could someone kindly assist me with this issue?

Is there an option in total commander that enables copying files that are over limit?

Is there any other software that you would reccomend me?

I heard that Robocop is good for that, I found some GUI version and will try to back it up that way. I am still not sure if there are some parameters that need to be configured in order to copy long files. I thought that it is integrated by default in Total Commander?
